New Freedom Initiative's Online Resource Center for Americans with Disabilities

PTSD Anonymous - PTSD Anonymous (PTSDA), an all-volunteer national networking effort to support military personnel with PTSD, with peer lead meetings across the country. PTSDA focuses on local social support groups for those facing the initial stigma of seeking help for mental health and the continued stress of daily life issues. Military returnees "live in two worlds" of war and home; and improving their social support systems and quality of life enhances their re-integration.

The Soldier's Project - Providing free and confidential psychological counseling for all branches (OIF/OEF only) Military Service members, Veterans, and their loved ones by private practice counselors in the community who would like to give back. Pierce County Homeless Connect - Project Homeless Connect provides a starting place on the journey back to safety, stability, health, and hope. The event is scheduled for October 13th at the Tacoma Dome.
